Job Description
Coordinate the ‘Countering Harmful Practices F4B Project’ in Hargeisa, focused on eliminating female genital mutilation (FGM), child marriage, and other harmful practices. Engage communities, religious leaders, and local authorities to promote behaviour change and strengthen legal frameworks protecting women and girls.
Requirements
- Degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Public Health, or related discipline
- Minimum 4 years of experience working on gender-based violence or harmful practices
- Strong community mobilization and advocacy experience
- Knowledge of the Somaliland/Somalia social and cultural context
- Fluency in Somali and English required
