Job Description

Lead coordination for resilience and climate change initiatives to enhance food security in Somalia. Develop and implement integrated programmes addressing drought, floods, and other climate shocks affecting pastoral and farming communities. Engage government, NGOs, and development partners in building long-term resilience.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Climate Change, Agriculture, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in resilience or climate adaptation programming
• Familiarity with Somalia’s agropastoral landscape and food security dynamics
• Demonstrated experience in multi-stakeholder coordination and resource mobilization
• Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of Somali an advantage
